Hookoween 2016

Saturday was the annual Hook-In for our Guild and since it's so close to Halloween it was dubbed our Hookoween. We met in the upstairs classroom of My Girlfriend's Quilt Shoppe in Logan Utah and it was a great day. The turnout was wonderful with about 25 people in attendance.

The rug show included some truly spectacular entries.

Several games of Halloween Bingo were played and the lucky winners went home with chubby rolls of wool to add to their stash.

Each person received a cute mummy filled with chocolate treats.

The centerpieces were given as door prizes - the cutest pumpkin people you've ever seen.

Here are some random photos of the projects that were being worked on throughout the day.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to the committee that planned and organized this wonderful event. We appreciate all your hard work which resulted in a delightful event!

Stitch in Time Bucket

A small group met on Saturday to continue working on a wool applique project that is so fun! It's a small bucket  made to carry our rug hooking supplies. The pattern is designed by Under the Garden Moon and it can be purchased here.

It was so much fun to see all the different versions and colorways. Here's a group shot of some of the attendees.

And a large variety of different squares that will become pockets n the bucket.

We hope to see some finished buckets at our Hookoween meeting in October!
